Some Very Rough Maskers Thumbnails
Opening sequence. Andy fights off a mob of nondescript villains in a dark void. He looks around and runs in the opposite direction, only to be met by the main villains standing in a group in front of him. In a smooth transition Andy is now wearing his superhero costume, fists up and ready to fight. Before he gets a chance to do so, the villains are covered by the towering shadow of the big bad, Andy’s principle, a balding man with tufts of hair like devils horns. The shadow pulls a silhouette of Andy on marionette strings, and dangles him above his loved ones. The loved ones pull Andy down but now Andy is drowning in them. He pulls himself up and out and floats away, but his ability to fly fails him and he begins falling. As he falls, water appears surrounding him and he sinks away into the void.
Andy climbs down the ladder of the tree house and ducks out of sight behind his friend’s house. He cautiously puts on his superhero costume while simultaneously talking to his partner over a walkie-talkie. He takes off into the air, then looks back guiltily at the friends he’s abandoned. After a moment he puts on his serious face and gives in to the fun, twirling gracefully into the sky to go meet his partner.
